This Boromir Action Figure is a wonderful addition to the Lord of the Rings Action Figure Line. Boromir Captain of Gondor appears in the initial 2 The Lord of the Rings volumes and is mentioned in the final The Return of the King. He was the brother of Faramir and the oldest son of Denethor II, the final ruling Warden of Gondor. He is dignified and honourable. Boromir thought avidly in the importance of his empire and would have protected its people to the very end. Boromir's immense endurance and natural power, together with a strong and authoritative persona, made him a broadly-accepted leader in Gondor's defense force. Boromir was made Leader of the White Tower, and rapidly became Captain-General, also bearing the designation High Warden of the White Tower. He was also successor to the Stewardship. Boromir led a lot of victorious forays in opposition to Sauron's forces, preceding to his voyage north to Rivendell.
